Selection Controls

The selection toolbar can be used to interact with the model objects selected in the 3D view.

To view the properties

1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

2. Navigate to the 3D Viewer.
   For more information - please see Accessing the 3D Viewer. 

3. Once you are inside the Viewer, select the objects that you want to view properties for.

4. Once the objects are selected, the Selection Toolbar will display at the bottom of the screen.

5. On the toolbar, select View properties panel.

To add object attachments

1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

2. Navigate to the 3D Viewer.
   For more information - please see Accessing the 3D Viewer. 

3. Once you are inside the Viewer, select the objects that you want to add attachments to.

4. Once the objects are selected, the Selection Toolbar will display at the bottom of the screen.

5. On the toolbar, select Add object attachments.

6. Choose between creating a new ToDo or other attachment type.

To change object color

1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

2. Navigate to the 3D Viewer.
   For more information - please see Accessing the 3D Viewer. 

3. Once you are inside the Viewer, select some objects.

4. Once the objects are selected, the Selection Toolbar will display at the bottom of the screen.

5. On the toolbar, select Color and transparency settings.

6. Select the desired color and transparency.

To fit objects to view

1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

2. Navigate to the 3D Viewer.
   For more information - please see Accessing the 3D Viewer. 

3. Once you are inside the Viewer, select the objects that you want to fit to view.

4. Once the objects are selected, the Selection Toolbar will display at the bottom of the screen.

5. On the toolbar, select Fit to View.

To hide a selection

1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

2. Navigate to the 3D Viewer.
   For more information - please see Accessing the 3D Viewer. 

3. Once you are inside the Viewer, select the objects that you want to hide.

4. Once the objects are selected, the Selection Toolbar will display at the bottom of the screen.

5. On the toolbar, click Hide Selection.

6. Your selection will be hidden.

You can revert by clicking the Hide Selection button again (while the object(s) are still selected). 

To show only the selected objects

1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

2. Navigate to the 3D Viewer.
   For more information - please see Accessing the 3D Viewer. 

3. Once you are inside the Viewer, select the objects that you want to show only.

4. Once the objects are selected, the Selection Toolbar will display at the bottom of the screen.

5. On the toolbar, click Show Only Selected Objects.

6. All other objects and models will be hidden.

You can revert by clicking the Show Only Selected Objects button again (while the object(s) are still selected).
