Creating Measurements

To create a single point measurement

1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

2. Navigate to the 3D Viewer.
   For more information - please see Accessing the 3D Viewer. 

3. Once you are inside the Viewer, on the toolbar, open the Measurement Menu by clicking Measurement Options next to the Perpendicular Measurement tool. 

4. Select Single Point.

5. Pick the point, edge or face you want to measure.

6. A label appears, showing the X,Y and Z coordinates.

To measure between objects

1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

2. Navigate to the 3D Viewer.
   For more information - please see Accessing the 3D Viewer. 

3. Once you are inside the Viewer, on the toolbar, click the Perpendicular Measurement tool or if it is not shown by default, you can select it from the the Measurement Menu.

4. Pick the point, edge or face from which you want to start measuring.

5. Pick the point, edge or face of the object from to which you want to measure.

6. A label appears, showing the measurement between the selected points.
