Aligning 3D Models
Model relocation is saved also on the server side, which means that when removing the model locally, model location will be remembered when downloading the model again.
You have several options to reposition a model:
X and Y position
Elevation
Scale
X, Y and Z rotation
Adjust the distance
To reposition a model
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.
Navigate to the 3D Viewer.
For more information - please see Accessing the 3D Viewer.Once you are inside the Viewer, open the Models panel.
Click on the overflow menu for the model you want to reposition.
Select Position settings.
The Model Position Panel will open on the right of the screen.
You can adjust the following:
X and Y position
Elevation
Scale
X, Y and Z rotation
Adjust the distance
Click Save when you are done.
Reposition Options
Position X or Y
Models can be relocated by entering directly X and Y positions.
Elevation
Models can be relocated by changing their elevation.
Scale
Models can also be scaled using the scale field. Scale is always set to 100 by default. The scale is just a visual factor, and doesn’t affect the object properties in any way.
Rotation X, Y or Z
Models can be relocated by entering directly X,Y and Z rotation.
