Topic 3D Views
Overview
A Topic can have multiple 3D views in it.
When a Topic is created in the 3D viewer, the current 3D view is automatically saved into the newly created Topic
Click the “View” tab in the Topic details to see all views of the Topic
To activate a view, click the thumbnail image in the View tab
Add Views to a Topic
To add a View to a topic
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.
Navigate to the 3D Viewer.
For more information - please see Accessing the 3D Viewer.Open the Topics tab.
Click on the topic you want to add the View to.
Position the model as necessary.
Under the Views section click the + button.
The View will be created and added to the Topic.
Topic 3D View Contents
3D view content saved into a Topic View include:
Displayed models
Object selection
Camera position
Measurement
Markup
Clip planes
Object color
Object transparency
When a Topic view is activated, the view content is loaded and the view state is returned to match the original creation time state as closely as possible. Object selection, color and transparency are based on saving object identifiers in the view data contents.
